Accelerating Patient Access at Regeneron
For Regeneron, we transformed document-heavy workflows across four patient support programs spanning Oncology, Rare Disease, and Ophthalmology. The Document Triaging solution automated the intake of enrollment forms and clinical documents, including prescriptions, insurance cards, and updated program information directly from healthcare providers. By digitizing and validating this critical information, the system initiated benefit verification workflows seamlessly & other subsequent patient onboarding stages, reducing delays, errors, and manual effort while ensuring patients gained faster access to therapy.
Business Objective
Each year, between November and March, Regeneron handles re-verification for over 300 patients to confirm their benefits for the upcoming year. This process was time-sensitive and involved multiple steps, making it both tedious and resource-intensive for the Patient Support Team. Timely execution was critical to ensure patients remained enrolled in the program without any service disruption.
